Location. The Hyatt Regency San Francisco is positioned across from the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero waterfront in San Francisco, Calif. Embarcadero Center shops stand adjacent to this property.
Hotel Features. A commanding spherical metal sculpture rises from a reflecting pool in the soaring Feng Shui influenced atrium lobby. Cylindrical glass elevators glide between the hotel's 17 floors, delivering guests to their rooms in futuristic style. The lobby is ringed with up market shops and a car rental agency. Dining options include the Eclipse Caf� that features a California salad, pasta, sandwich, steak and seafood menu. The lobby bar, 13 Views, offers 13 picture window views of the adjacent plaza and waterfront. The bar serves cocktails, specialty drinks and appetizers. A total of 67,000 square feet of function space includes 35 flexible function rooms and a street level ballroom. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. A staffed business center is equipped with three computer stations and offers fax, photocopy, print and shipping services. The complimentary fitness center contains exercise cycles, exercise balls, weights, steppers and stair climbers. Workout machines are mounted with individual television monitors.
Guestrooms. The Hyatt Regency San Francisco offers 802 contemporary guestrooms with autumnal color schemes and city or bay views. Hyatt Grand Beds feature pillow top mattresses, high thread count linens and chenille throws that are laundered following each guest's stay. Rooms include cable television, DVD players on request, and high speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee. Safes accommodate laptops. Bathrooms contain makeup mirrors, granite vanities and floors, and Portico toiletries. Regency Club Rooms offer complimentary continental breakfasts and early evening hor d'oeuvres.
Expert Tip. The Hyatt Regency San Francisco is one of a very few locations that houses a Clear Registered Traveler station where travelers may pay a fee for a pre screening process that lessens the time it takes to go through airport security.
Renovation Notice:
Beginning Fall 2007, the hotel is scheduled to begin renovations on all guestrooms. There is no estimated date of completion available.

Exit the airport and take US 101 N toward San Francisco.
Bear right onto I 80 heading toward the Bay Bridge.
Take the 7th St exit, and then follow the signs for 7th Street.
Turn left onto 7th Street and proceed one half mile to Market Street.
Turn right onto Market Street and proceed one mile.
Turn left onto Drumm Street.

From Metropolitan Oakland International Airport:
Approximate distance to the hotel is 20 miles.
Exit the airport via Hegenberger Road.
Take I 880 N toward Oakland.
Take I 80 W / San Francisco / Bay Bridge.
Cross over the Bay Bridge.
Take the Fremont Street exit.
Proceed north on Fremont Street for to Market Street.
Fremont Street crosses Market Street and becomes Front Street.
Continue on Front Street for two blocks.
Turn right onto California Street.
Turn left onto Drumm Street.
